Resident Evil/Biohazard:Heavenly Island Manga set to End- Comicclan

Fans of Biohazard-Heavenly Island Manga will likely be disappointed as the series is apparently coming to an end. The fifth and final issue of Naoki Serizawa’s Manga will be shipped on February 8.


Biohazard-Heavenly Island was launched in Akita Shoten’s Weekly Shonen Champion in January 2015, and Akita Shoten shipped the fourth compiled volume on September 8. The Manga series has been on several hiatuses since it’s launch.

The entire series is set on a remote island in South America. The story center’s around A popular TV program called Idol Survival where Gravure idols compete in various competitions in swimsuit. The crew arrives on the same isolated South American island that TerraSave member Claire Redfield is visiting on an investigation.The novel is revealed to be a tie-in to “Resident Evil: Revelations 2” and “Umbrella Corps.” However, it is set right after the events of “Resident Evil 6.”

Serizawa’s earlier Biohazard: Marhawa Desire manga launched with a prologue chapter in the inaugural issue of CAPCOM‘s CapBom! magazine in 2011, and the series ended in 2013. Viz Media published the five-volume manga in North America.
