DC Entertainment is once again partnering with a movie theater advertising company to promote its comic books and partner comic shops. The publisher resumed its agreement with National CineMedia (whom it worked with during “New 52”) to come up with :15 and :30 second “Rebirth” commercials that comic shops can have their contact info added into.
DC is offering a 50% reimbursement on these ads should a retailer buy them with National CineMedia. Back in 2011 during “New 52,” DC offered retailers a 75% reimbursement.
National CineMedia media controls much of the pre-movie advertising for United States theaters owned by AMC, Cinemark, and Regal.
